My friend said this is a pyramid. Is he right?

Your friend is confusing network marketing with chain letters. Any company who markets nothing more then a way for people to earn money on other people is illegal. There are many of these get rich programs on the Internet so be very careful to check with the Better Business Bureau and you may also want to check them out by contacting the Direct Selling Association.
    
As far as Network Marketing, a marketing system which we were first to develop in 1956, it is very legal and now being taught in many different colleges. Companies such as Gillette, Time-Life, Colgate Palmolive, Rexall Drug, Coca Cola, MCI, US Sprint, AT&T and others are also now using network marketing as a way to introduce products to the market place.

Network Marketing has also enjoyed many positive write-ups in Success, Money, Fortune and many other top magazines. In fact, it has gone so big that the author, John Milton Fogg, who wrote many of the articles for Success magazine, which were some of their best sellers when containing MLM stories, has now started his own successful magazine called Upline. This magazine was also very successful in the first year that he now has another magazine called Network Marketing and it is also very successful.

How do I know for sure this company is legal?

How much does it cost to get started?

The cost of a membership with us at the present time is $19.95 This would register you with us to purchase all of our products at an average discount of 15%. This membership is good for 1 year at which time you would be invited to renew for another year. You may also market our products and build your own business from home if you wish. If you want to build your own business, you must be registered as a Distributor.

What if I just want to buy products but do not want to build a business?

Everyone starts by trying the products. You can purchase our products retail or if you want to buy them wholesale, you can become a member. If you want to continue to be a wholesale member, then you will continue buying at wholesale prices whenever you wish. If you decide later to build a business, contact your support person and they will direct you to the information you will need to get training.

What would be my first step in building a business?

The first step is to become a member and try our products. You must first form your own opinion about our products for you to introduce them to others. This is why we offer a guarantee. There is no risk for anyone who wishes to try our products. We know you will be impressed.

What would be the total cost to have my business up and running?

This is a hard question to answer because everyone starts their business at different speeds and some people already have some of the tools they would need. If you already have a computer, then your cost would be different then a person who does not own one.

As far as a direct related start-up package, it would range from $19.95 as a member to $299 for a business package depending on how fast you want to get started.

How does your prices compare to others on the market?

It is hard to do a fair comparison if price is the only part of a product looked at. If the question was asked of how we compare in price to products with the same quality as we provide, there would be no other product to compare with on the market today.

If you were to take all the multivitamins on the market and compare prices to ours, you would find that we are not at the top nor are we at the bottom in cost. However, it would be to your benefit to look at the complete product when doing a comparison. Look for balance, purity, testing and proof the products will do what they were made to do such as build healthy cells.
 
The testing and proof is something you will have a hard time finding when it comes to products on the market. The FDA does not require it when it comes to nutritional products but we do it anyway, we would be proud to show you these results.
